Reno & Maudo Reunited

A short while back Liverpool had a Beatles Day which did as it said on the tin – for one day (July 10th) the entire city celebrated everything Fab Four.

Reno took part in the events too and got together with a few mates to play some live music at the Hard Days Night Hotel.

One of these friends you’ll know – Mr Frank Maudsley.

They were joined to complete this group by Owen Moran (keyboards) and John Legget (drums) from Cook Da Books and Richy on bass.

They played Space Age, I Ran, DNA, two of Frank’s called “Electric Shocks” and “Atmosphere” and two of Reno’s; “Woe Is Me” and “Shaking The Life Tree”.
The More You Live was performed too. Twice. The second time for an encore.

Sadly there is only the one photo to the left there (at the moment) from the gig.

Hey… what a nice statement!
I am in Sunderland in England with my soon to be wife and I’ve just read your message and I’m extremely flattered. As guitar players go we all hopefully play from the same songbook but some of us have a distinctive sound. I suppose I just worked harder and longer than most people. That doesn’t mean to say that Brian May and Bill Nelson are still not my greatest influences because they are- you’ve just got to try a little bit better and try and become as good as they are!!!
